Eine Reko-Untersuchung kann nur 12-48 Stunden nach dem Rennen angefordert werden, andernfalls erfolgt keine Bearbeitung.
Seit Anfang 2020 geht das REKO-Team nachsichtiger mit Zwischenfällen und Strafen um.
Von nun an wird die REKO Beschwerden gegen andere Fahrer NICHT mehr nachgehen, es sei denn, der Vorfall wird als böswillige oder vorsätzliche Handlung angesehen.
Bei “Rennvorfällen” ermutigen wir die Mitglieder, den Vorfall selbst auf faire und friedliche Weise zu diskutieren und zu lösen.

It's funny that in the preperation for the new seasons 65, 66 and TC, three different admins chose apart from each other a different layout for the track Watkins Glen.

Hi Doni, your account is active at the PB database because I used it to enter your results for the lat 66 race.

I have noticed that the PB database does take a while to refresh sometimes.
For instance - I just entered my PB but it did not show on the list. But I went back to the page a few minutes later and it was there.

Just do shift-refresh, i.e. keep shift down when clicking the browser refresh button. That works for me.

That tip worked! Shift + Reset. Now I have a time up on the board but it's under my evil twin's name, Lance DeBoyle.

For this race, I managed to come up with my own setup from scratch. It took a fair while & is a 1st for me; necessary as couldn't go to the track database to "borrow" one. Pretty pleased with the result. Time is around the middle of list on the rego page - although I'm guessing it will still be slowest or thereabouts on the day .

Does anyone know if the track database will be up & running again soon?

I always make my own setups. It is all part of the fun

Tip - If you are stuck, use a setup from another track - For instance, your setup from Watkins Glen 1967 would be a good place to start.

Me too! I have a standard starting point that I always use and then modify it to suit the track. Mostly that is variations in tyre pressure and camber to get the temps right. The trouble with a downloaded setup is that it is not designed for your driving style but can make a good starting point. So for example at Watkins glen the left front tyre temps were going high mostly in the loop so I have tried to adjust my style at that corner and slide it more here - when I do that the temps are more stable. Driving style makes all the difference.
