Tony,
Great link! I find his writing style very amusing! And if anyone is interested here is the MotoGP 2022 highlights...
https://youtu.be/DDhgRhkWwaw
The track now looks wider, the curves less tight and consequently the straights shorter than we are used to in GPL - but its still all there.

No way!Paul Skingley hat geschrieben: ↑So Jan 29, 2023 8:36 pm When you join via iGor - iGor sets the correct bandwidth for the server you are joining automatically so bandwidth miss match should not be a problem.
If you are joining via IP - your bandwidth server settings in your core.ini must match the server you are joining.
This what you need for GPLRACER in your core.ini if joining via IP
I tried to modify core.ini as you said and also with a version described in GPLWorld.
Nothing works.
But I CAN enter into any other server on Igor 36 or 60 fps.
The problem is the timeout in the communication with the server.
Is the IP 188.192.105.178 correct?

Re: 31.01.2023 / GPLRACER 66 / Race 02 / Phillip Island
Sergio,
We have another server GPLRACER6 which only runs when needed. I am assuming Stefan runs it as he runs GPLRACER but I am not sure. I wonder if we could start up that server and see if you can join it - might help rule out some things??? Perhaps you could PM Stefan and see what he thinks?

Yes IP address was cortect.
I checked all again Yesterday but couldn't find any solution.
I'll be able to try this evening only Just before the race...
At least to solve the problem for the future

Re: 31.01.2023 / GPLRACER 66 / Race 02 / Phillip Island
How many times did you retry (in GPL, when it asks you if you want to retry connecting)?
I tested the server yesterday (via iGOR), and I had to retry 3-4 times before getting in. This was quite unusual, because normally I've gotten in 1st time, and only occasionally on 2nd try.
But never before yesterday have I had to try so many times.

My wife says I never listen.
Or something like that.

HI.
Don't know what happened (maybe Stefan knows) but I can get in!
Very good!
See you later.
Sergio
PS: I restarted the PC yesterday night and used it only now ... maybe it was my machine... who knows.

pass = round2
To finish first, first you have to finish.

I'm sorry for our crash that put you out of the race Sergio. We didn't see each other.
My engine blew on about lap 6. No more speed shifting..
