Thanks all for racing.
Sorry to the DNF.

I qualified 3rd but did not make the best of starts. Then I had contact with Yannick ( I already guessed you did not see me )

After the incident we dropped to the back but I was able to recover to 4th.
By the time I got to 4th the 3rd place was 15 seconds ahead so I had a lonely race from then on.

It could have been worst, and realistically without the incident I would probably only finished one place higher anyway.

Well done podium, especially nice run from Pat in the Cooper.

I had taken the Cooper for reasons... Personal But in any case, I had a lot of fun with it!

Excellent qualification, with admittedly a bit of suction, but without it, I had the 28.0.
I was under pressure from Tom the whole race, and that's when I saw the difference in power between Ferrari and Cooper, he was coming back very strong in the straights.
On the last lap I tried to protect my position on the brakes of the last corner by keeping the inside, but I spun... Well done Tom, you deserved this 2nd place!

On the first lap I saw Yannick going past on the inside and Paul just ahead, so I slowed to make room for Yannick to take the corner. I was very surprised when Paul and Yannick got together. This left me to try and chase down the lead two cars. After I finally caught Pat it was great fun chasing him while trying to look for a spot to eventually attempt a pass. There was no rush to try a pass before the later stages of the race. Last thing I wanted to do was risk taking both of us out on an ill advised pass. Second place fell into hands on the last lap after Pat spun, could have been a very close finish otherwise. Great drive in the Cooper, Pat! Thanks for the fun racing all!

Nice job by TJ to score a handy P2. Well done.

Picked up a whole slew of places in the opening lap as fallers were aplenty. Could have finished that opening lap up from a P11 start to a tasty P5 save for being ushered out of the way by Philippe who chose to use my Eagle as brakes going into Railway. Philippe... I was already turning in when you shot up the inside. Grrr... Observing subsequent laps from the server replay revealed that your normal pass into that corner was much more restrained. Please do be more careful in future. I was lucky to get away without a wreck.

Ran as high as P6 and leading Bob's Ferrari when the Weslake V-12 scattered its inards at the start of Lap11. Sigh...

I REALLY like Boreham! I first drove it in my one and only dabble with the 55's and it was great fun. It is even better in the 66's - they go together perfectly. I admit I spent a fare bit of time on training but was pleased with my time so went into race night with high hopes.
Those hopes were soon dashed - I simply couldn't put a full lap together in practice. I was at least a full second off my theoretical best - good sectors but poor laps. So I started 10th.
The old BT19 doesn't get off the line like the Ferraris so I didn't make any headway. I was expecting a race of attrition - but not all on the first lap. Carnage! I spent a few laps behind Doni but I am not good at following closely so ended up running wide at the end of the pit straight. Unfortunately this was a start of a trend as it happened 3 times in the race - rarely had this during training !
Ended up 6th but not through any skill of mine - more to do with others misfortune.
Well done to Tristan, Tom and Pat for the podium. And thanks to GPLRacer for hosting and admin.
