60 fps patch?

60 fps patch?

Hello,

sorry if this has been already discussed somewhere here (I did try to look around, but couldn't find it), but why don't we use the 60 fps patch in the races?

Does it cause some problems or is it some kind of performance issue?

It's just that it looks so beautifully smooth compared to the 36 fps...

i want to get back to that question as well.

The last argument was the freeze, which wasn't really reproducible for me when driving in 60fps UKGPl as well.

Since a year or so, we have the great anti freeze patch and no need for slow fps.... ?

Why not use the 60fps patch ?

1 - Some here are still using older rigs that struggle to hold 36 fps let alone 60.

2 - The AI do not work correctly @ 60 fps.

3 - There seem to be more online glitches with leagues that use 60 fps.

4 - 60 fps is a faff to use with more chance of Gem+ errors.

5 - Why fix something that is not broken :)

- so it must be yery old machine, WIN 7 or older with all open security issues ?

- i don't get it, we are driving online without AI ? AI is also only working on the default track as far i know, and they are not good opponents ?
