Hi all.
For who is interested I post here what I wrote also on SRMZ about Fairshift and relative issues (see below).
After a combo I could do some laps in Imola using my driving force H shifter and clutch - ok GPL is tough why dont try it with an H shifter?

- and I saw the the experience is complete and very impressive!
Using an H shifetr means also the need to apply the "blip" (the use of the throttle when shifting down I mean" especially with low gears) thing that I am really unable to do!
But ok. It was a test had to recheck the combo and see also if online the thing works (using Igor alone away from GEM+).
Let's see.
Here's the explainantion of what I did...
"After some month I retried to use Fairshift. It seems there's no way to use it when GPL starts via GEM+ because I run both apps as normal user (WIN32 gives an error) and as admin. In this last case after some times GPL lost connection with Fairshift and the H shifter doesnt work anymore (the car lose the gear and got stuck in neutral)!!
If I run GPL directly from its .exe file (eg. gplc67.exe is the test I did) it works but there's something strange about the configuration. I mean: I setup Fairshift (the buttons but not the axes) but when I run GPL and made the joystick calibration the configuration seems lost and Fairshift doesnt work. It works fine with a complete Fairshift setup (buttons and axis) but had to make a double joystick config in gpl because 1st one seems not making Fairshift work!
This was a brief test, had to check well all this options. Another test will be to run without a joy calibration in GPL.
For sure in Windows 10 with my G29 there's somenthing strange behaviour (with the clutch I suspect) but ... at least one configuration seems to work!"
EDIT
I could make a last test before holidays.
I can use Fairshift with GEM+ both started as "normal user" (I forgot to disable "run as admin" for GEM+

)
Solved this, the only thing that I could affirm is that now it works fine with the clutch disabled.
For some reason, as I supposed, enabling the clutch makes Fairshift working in a weird manner... sometimes works, sometimes gpl loses "connection" while driving and the shifter got stuck in neutral or it doesnt work at all.
Mybe there is an "interference" between Fairshift and the joy calibration of GPL? Who knows.
Not a great problem to say the truth, without clutch means only that you can insert the gears without use it (as you are using the paddles) but if you drive using it as expected as you drive your real car it works and it's also better because avoids unwanted overrevs while shifting that can damage the engine and the driving is more "natural".
