Hallo Frank,
es wäre schön, wenn du mitfahren könntest.
Bzgl.

Echt schade. Offline geht alles

Re: [Fun Race] 10.08.2019 - Alfa vs. Porsche - Solitude-Ring (1967 Sportscars Extra Mod)
My thanks to Stefan and GPLRacer for staging this event. It was indeed fun!
Congratulations to our podium and a Porsche sweep. Erik with a convincing win Mark and Pedro scoring the P2 & P3 placings. Well done, gys.
I had a ripper of a time crossing swords with Carlos Cendejas. He and I have a history of fine races together in other leagues so when he made a stop at the pub mid-race allowing me to catch up, the following laps were great fun. A minor collision coming off the back straight in a late lap was entirely my doing and it was only proper to yield the place. Had great fun trying to earn it back.
As ever at Solitude, I made an effort to achieve one goal. No 64's. Job done!

Re: [Fun Race] 10.08.2019 - Alfa vs. Porsche - Solitude-Ring (1967 Sportscars Extra Mod)
I had a Porsche v Alfa Cup in mind if things turned out well,
but I had not anticipated the Alfa to be three seconds inferior to the Porsche at Solitude.
But then again, I qualified second behind Fleurke Jr., and it's a high speed circuit, so... maybe two seconds
Maybe I should think about a Ferrari v Lola v Mirage/Chaparral then. That seems closer at least.
So, as mentioned, had a stellar qualifying lap which got me on the front row,
but there was no keeping up to Erik who drove off into the distance.
So I had to deal with an army of Porsches behind which I could beat on my own merit in the corners but was completely outclassed on the straights.
Even when fully drafting behind one on the back straight I could not even get side-by-side in the braking zone, so I had to resort to a divebomb, and that was the last time I battled a Porsche that race.
Sorry Mark!
The rest of the run I fell back, so I tried to do the best I can with a reset car.
I got pretty close to getting end best lap time in the race, considering I had more fuel at the end of the run and being only 0.2s behind it, I'm happy with it.
I really went for it to be a match for the Porsche drivers.
Fun event
Season resuming soon!

Grats to the podium, Erik, Mark and Pedro!
Thank you all for joining the event.
It was fun, but I had way to many spins and crashes.
